Art for Art’s Sake and a little labor on Labor Day!
We took a small hiatus this summer to work on a variety of projects but we’re back and having some fun to boot. While many people were enjoying Labor Day at home, I had to pleasure of doing a little art direction and styling to create some amazing photographic art. Working with photographer Brian DeSimone and friend / co-stylist Hillary Rocker of Tallawa Collection, we took over Williamsburg, Brooklyn’s Wythe Hotel to create an artistic series of love, murder, and mayhem. Hair was done by the lovely Nylza Yepez, and makeup by the incredibly talented Ruben to create both beautiful and some slightly scary looks. And the model? Of course the star of the show was NY’s quirky burlesque dancer, Hazel Honeysuckle.
